With a gastronomic legacy spanning over a century, the iconic "Vassilenas" on Vrasida Street continues to stand out in Athens' vibrant restaurant scene. Its elegant and inviting hall, exuding both urban chic and European flair, coupled with the impressive walk-in cellar, sets the stage for Chef Manos Ganelis' modern-inspired cuisine and owner Thanasis Vasilenas' profound commitment to Greek gastronomy.

The dishes are of a modern approach, yet enriched with traditional essence, enhanced with original notes, and predominantly "dedicated" to the sea. Maintaining impeccable standards, the offerings cater to a cosmopolitan palate, evident from the diverse international clientele it attracts. Noteworthy is the head-to-tail menu, showcasing innovative culinary creations that make the most of every ingredient.

Designed by architects Maria Kokkinou and Andreas Kourkoulas, the space evokes the ambiance of the 1960s, harmonizing seamlessly with the iconic Hilton building. Walls made of volcanic lightweight stone and hundreds of illuminated wine bottles hanging from the ceiling create an atmospheric lighting, while the two impressive walk-in cellars with over 150 wine labels are a central element.
