About the Restaurant
With a brand new all-day concept and a refreshed space, Lost Athens has returned to the city's scene in the perfect timing. The popular spot on Archelaou Street has reopened its doors, now offering, among other things, an all-day philosophy, a much warmer and cozier space, and an open-hearted open kitchen.Inside its cozy interior - which maintains its industrial elements - the days start early in the morning, with a display of handmade pastries and sweets (a wide range that includes homemade focaccia, pies, red velvet cake, etc.), accompanied by a great cup of coffee. The lunch menu, curated by chef Eleni Saranti, features dishes from the main menu supplemented by daily specials, always following Mediterranean culinary directions. This is also promised by the Lost Athens menu: a Mediterranean table, made with love. And indeed, this is also achieved with the rich dinner menu, drawing influences from almost every corner of the Mediterranean, presented by chef Saranti's perspective. Among other options, you will come across dishes such as Athenian with potato, tsipoura, dill, and fennel, beef soup with carrots and mushrooms, spaghetti with celeriac mash - topinambour, homemade ravioli with tomato and spices, yogurt with garlic and lemon confit, as well as fresh catch of the day in white wine sauce or lamb leg with citrus.
