About the Restaurant

An old Athenian house with a welcoming, cool terrace is home to Humain restaurant. It is a new gastronomic experience in the Metz region, combining creativity with the wisdom of Mediterranean cuisine, respect for raw materials, a sense of proportion and human scale.  The philosophy of Humain is founded on the power of experience, on our first taste memories. These memories are created by local ingredients, the familiar aromas we learned as children. These are what make up the basis on which the restaurant's team of chefs designs a menu with a contemporary perspective, authentic and without fanfare.
