Black Duck

About the Restaurant

The Black Duck in the center of Athens never ceases to surprise us! It is already in its 17th year of operation, and for the past three years, it has been based year-round—winter and summer—at the Museum of the City of Athens, in other words, in the magical space of the Black Duck! Every time we visit the now-classic multipurpose venue of Black Duck, we notice something new. And this year is no exception—the Black Duck remains the ultimate destination, offering choices for every taste! Do you want a bottle of wine paired with carefully crafted bar food dishes? Do you prefer cocktails—or rather “duck tails”—signed by expert Mary Talaiporou? Or maybe you’re in the mood for a full comfort meal or dinner? Whatever your palate desires, you can be sure that Black Duck provides it in a magical interior space—its restaurant set among statues and the European atmosphere of a museum—or in the indoor bar, which now hosts all the artworks from the venue’s former Art Gallery. And if autumn and winter nights remain mild, most of the garden is now covered and heated!
There, DJs set the rhythm early on in an all-season listening bar/restaurant!
All you need is a reservation—so that a table, a spot at the bar, or a cozy high table stand will be waiting for you!
