About the Restaurant

 “2 Mazi” is a restaurant of Greek creative cuisine located on the edge of Plaka, at 48 Nikis Street. A champion of quality, its owner, Ilias Gogos, draws inspiration from the finest products this land has to offer. Meats, fish, handmade pasta, and traditional pies are combined with herbs, aromatics, and every edible flower of distinctive flavor and therapeutic value. Delicatessen products from small producers across Greece could not be missing from the restaurant’s kitchen. We have set the bar high, hoping to share our deep love for good food. Our goal is to awaken all your senses, to reintroduce familiar yet forgotten flavors, and to create new ones to delight your palate. We look forward to welcoming you to our space — a beautiful 19th-century neoclassical building — to relive the era when life still had “the flavor of togetherness.”
